High Voter Turnout: Vancouver is Ready to Elect a Fighter who will grill Ken Sim
VANCOUVER, BC – The City of Vancouver reports that 4795 ballots were cast on the second day of Advance Voting Wednesday, representing a staggering 119% increase over Advance Voting in the last civic by-election in 2017.
“Vancouver is saying ‘enough is enough’ to Ken Sim,” said COPE City Council candidate Sean Orr. “I’m ready to hold ABC accountable and to be a watchdog at City Hall for people who are fed up with Ken Sim’s billionaire-backed party.”
Earlier this week, Sean Orr released his commitments to hold Ken Sim accountable in opposition, and to use his seat on City Council to amplify community concerns and to report directly to citizens about what’s really happening in our city.
“We have a high turnout because people are looking for change. On Saturday, April 5th we’re going to send a clear message to Ken Sim and ABC. Next year, in 2026, we’re going to finish the job and evict Ken Sim.”
