Ken Sim’s ABC Fractures Over Lack of Integrity

August 7th, 2024

Vancouver, BC - After Ken Sim’s ABC Council’s botched attempt to get rid of the integrity commissioner, the ABC School Board chair has resigned from the party. No one wants to be associated with Ken Sim’s embarrassing and self serving leadership.

“ABC on school board has made the wrong choices again and again. Trying to close schools, cut services, and make School Board Meetings more secretive. They’re undermining democracy.” said COPE School Trustee Suzie Mah today, “While I applaud Victoria Jung seeing the light on ABC’s integrity issues, I am skeptical that this means that she will actually break from ABC’s dismal record for students.”

COPE will continue to fight for students, teachers, and families against ABC’s cuts and sell-offs. COPE is Vancouver’s progressive party since 1968.
